Lakes Area Home & Garden Show Tops in Mid-North Indiana

Monticello- WMRS Radio, WLFI News Channel 18, and The Best Western Brandywine Complex will host the Eighth Annual Lakes Area Home & Garden Show, Saturday, March 8 and Sunday, March 9, 2008.  It is the largest show of its type in north central Indiana .  The 2006 Lakes Area Home & Garden Show drew over 9,000 visitors to the Brandywine Complex’s over 24,000 square foot of exhibit area.  Again in 2007, home owners and guests will have the opportunity to see the newest home-related products and services as well as win prizes valued at more than $10,000. 

“We will continue to strive to bring together the most diverse group of exhibitors possible,” said WMRS General Manager Kevin Page.   “We want to ensure that all of our exhibitors have the chance to tell their stories and market their products and services.  Last year, former White Sox player, Ron ‘Kitty’ Kittle made an appearance at the show on Sunday and was a huge hit.  This year we hope to have another sports star appear at our show.”

The 2008 Lakes Area Home and Garden Show exhibitors will include representatives from such industries as home environment, building contractors, finance, insurance, home improvement, water systems, kitchen cabinetry, garage doors, home security, plumbing, heating and air conditioning, furniture, roofing, landscaping, window treatments, carpets, stone products, driveway seal coating and blacktopping, guttering, and manufactured housing.

Hours of the 8^th Annual Lakes Area Home and Garden Show are 10 AM to 5 PM on Saturday, March 10, and 11 AM to 4 PM on Sunday, March 11.  The Best Western Brandywine Complex and Conference Center is located on the Southwest side of Monticello at 728 South Sixth Street , just South of US 24.

The Lakes Area Home and Garden Show is growing every year and it is a great way to promote your products and services.  Booth Space Rental is $400 for an 8 x 10 booth with table (covered) and 2 chairs.  Electricity is $25 per booth and telephone line is $25.
